Breakfast Seminar “Targeting the ASEAN Market, IP Protection and Risk Mitigation Strategies for SMEs”

On Tuesday 8 October, EABC and ASEAN IPR Helpdesk jointly organised a Breakfast Seminar “Targeting the ASEAN Market – IP Protection & Risk Mitigation Strategies for SMEs” at the Sofitel Sukhumwit, Bangkok.

Mr Rolf-Dieter Daniel, EABC President and Mr Paul Kelleher, ASEAN IPR SME Helpdesk Project Manager gave welcome remarks, followed by an inaugural address from Mr Antonio Berenguer, Head of Trade and Economic Section, Delegation of the European Union to Thailand.

Mr Jakub Ramocki, ASEAN IPR SME Helpdesk Business Advisor gave a presentation titled “Protect What You Own” and followed by “Targeting the ASEAN Market, IP Protection & Risk Mitigation Strategies for SMEs” by Mr Frank Fougere, Managing Partner at Ananda Intellectual Property and Co-Director of Orbis Limited.

Mr Rolf-Dieter Daniel also presented the success story of Staedtler in using IP in business strategies. The event concluded with a considerable Q&A session.
