Biopharma Innovation Leaders’ Forum : Unlocking Thailand 4.0’s Potential

On 5 September, EABC Executive Director Mr. Peter Bjork and Policy Manager Mr. Chaladbhum Temkasem together with several representatives from EABC Working Group Healthcare & Pharmaceuticals  led by our Chair Dr. Thavirap Tantiwongse, participated in the “Biopharma Innovation Leaders Forum: Unlocking Thailand 4.0’s Potential”, at the Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok. EABC member PReMA was one of the organizers of this Forum. 

The Minister of Science and Technology H.E. Dr. Pichet Durongkaveroj preceded over the opening and presented the Governments vision on  “Policy and Direction of Biotechnology innovation”. Another Key delivery of the Forum was the presentation of the “Clinical Research Impact Study Thailand” that showed that Thailand’s potential for conducting clinical research have not been fully realized and that there are several opportunities for Thailand to excel in this area. The Forum ended with a panel discussion on “Driving Biopharma through Clinical Research”.
