Thailand Virtual Mission Trip 2021- Ministry of Finance on 27 September

On 27th September 2021, EABC and EU-ASEAN Business Council held the first meeting of the EU-ASEAN Business Council and EABC Virtual Mission Trip to Thailand 2021 with H.E. Mr. Arkhom Termpittayapaisith, Minister of Finance and related departments in Ministry of Finance.

The discussion included a large number of topics; post-pandemic economic recovery, excise tax policy, sustainable healthcare financing, investment policy, insurance issues, state owned enterprise reform, combating illicit trade, customs procedures and tax policy.

EABC will continue to engage with Ministry of Finance via the established working groups on finance, digital economy, Sustainable healthcare financing and excise tax/customs.
