On 1 September 2017, Mr Nils Helander, Senior Vice President for Manufacturing and Managing Director of PANDORA Production Co., Ltd., the world’s largest jewellery manufacturer under the Danish brand ‘PANDORA’, received 5 awards in Waste Utilisation Campaign of Department of Industrial Works including 2 ‘3Rs Awards’ and ‘3 Zero Waste to Landfill Awards’ from Captain Thaned Jantaklin, General Deputy Director of Department of Industrial Works. This is a proof of PANDORA’s strong passion to minimise environmental impact as well as to promote the quality of life and environment through innovative technology and continuous improvement throughout 28 years of company’s operation in Thailand.
3Rs Awards are given to companies that succeed in waste management in compliance with 3Rs principle of Reduce, Reuse and Recycle while Zero Waste to Landfill Awards are given to companies with successful waste management system and ability to properly utilized all the waste generated.
