EABC Congratulates Council of European Union to Support the Resumption of EU-Thailand FTA

The European Association for Business and Commerce (EABC), the Voice of all European companies and Chambers in Thailand, congratulates Council of European Union on its call for the political re-engagement with Thailand and a restoration of Thailand and EU Free Trade Agreement.

With our mission to strengthen European-Thai economic relations, EABC has put our great efforts in supporting the EU-Thailand FTA from the beginning. Our efforts include submission of recommendations to the EU Parliament, several dialogues with the European Ambassadors and The Royal Thai Government as well as personal visits to Trade Commissioner in Brussels.
“We believe this bilateral trade negotiation will bring improvement of trade and investment between the two economies.”

The statement has been released by The Foreign Affairs Council of the European Union on December 11th stating its political resumption at all levels with Thailand and possibilities to restore EU-Thailand Free Trade Agreement (FTA).
