Meeting with AOT Senior Executive Vice President Mr. Anake Teeraviwatchai

On 11 October 2016, EABC Delegation led by President Rolf-Dieter Daniel met with the Senior Executive Vice President for Engineering and Construction of the Airport Authority of Thailand, Mr. Anake Teeraviwatchai, to discuss on the Suvarnabhumi Airport’s extension and cooperation with European businesses. EABC Delegation included Chairman of EABC Rail and Road Infrastructure Working Group, Mr. Georg Wolff, and the working group’s members and the members of Energy and Energy Efficiency Working Group. Mr. Anake warmly welcomed the EABC to the meeting.

Discussion covered turnkey system integration, rolling stock and signaling, passenger boarding bridge interface, automated people mover, infrastructure construction, biding for work supervision for Terminal 2, lighting design, utilities and solar energy for airport. The AOT was pleased to see the EABC bring European technology for the new extension. Future collaboration is anticipated to start next year for Terminal 2.
