EABC - DIP Annual Consultation Meeting

On 8 September 2026, the Department of Intellectual Property (DIP) held its Annual Consultation Meeting, chaired by Mrs. Auramon Supthaweethum, Director General of DIP.

EABC IPR Working Group members shared views on key IP issues, including border protection, patent protection and examination, regulatory data protection, online enforcement, coordination among DIP, Customs and the Thai FDA, and IP system modernisation and innovation.

The meeting also brought together representatives from the EU Delegation, U.S. Embassy, British Embassy, USABC, AMCHAM and BCCT, providing a valuable platform for dialogue and exchange among the business community and relevant stakeholders.

EABC looks forward to continuing this constructive dialogue with DIP and remains committed to working closely with relevant stakeholders to support the development and strengthening of Thailand’s intellectual property ecosystem.
