EABC - Intellectual Property Rights Working Group Meeting #6

On 26 August 2026, the EABC Intellectual Property Rights Working Group, led by IPR Working Group Chair, Ms. Pavinee Bunyamissara, held its sixth meeting of the year in a hybrid format at the SCL Nishimura & Asahi Limited office.

The meeting covered recent developments in Thailand’s IP landscape, including further discussions on copyright rules for Generative AI-assisted music creation. Members also received updates on the upcoming EABC IP Series event in October.

The meeting further included discussions on the upcoming EABC and Department of Intellectual Property (DIP) consultation, reflecting EABC’s continued partnership with relevant stakeholders to strengthen intellectual property protection and promote a stronger IP ecosystem in Thailand.
