EABC - Intellectual Property Rights Working Group #8 Meeting

On 17 December 2025, EABC Intellectual Property Rights Working Group, led by IPR Working Group Chair, Ms. Pavinee Bunyamissara, held its eighth meeting of the year at the SCL Nishimura & Asahi Office.

The meeting includes sharing of key takeaways from EABC meeting with the Department of Intellectual Property (DIP) on 4 December 2025, led by Director-General, Ms. Auramon Supthaweethum. Discussions highlighted Thailand’s continued efforts to align intellectual property protection with international standards, while reinforcing proactive approaches to prevent and combat IP infringements.

Participants also exchanged views on a proposed concept for the upcoming IP Seminar in February 2026, which will focus on advancing anti-illicit trade positions and strengthening IP enforcement. This was followed by an open exchange of priority topics to help shape the IPR Working Group’s activities in the year ahead.

In addition, EABC members were invited to participate in DIP IP Fair 2026, offering opportunities to exhibit products and innovations and to promote IP commercialisation in Thailand.
