EABC to co-organise Workshop on Intellectual Property Rights in Southeast Asia

We are pleased to inform you that EABC is co-organising a Workshop on “Intellectual Property Rights in Southeast Asia” on Wednesday 22 January 2014 at 09.00-11.30 a.m. and you are cordially invited to take part.
The Workshop “Intellectual Property Rights in Southeast Asia” is part of the ASEAN-EU Science Technology and Innovation (STI) Days, hosted by Thai National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) from 21 to 23 January 2014. The STI Days address researchers from most thematic areas – with a focus on the societal challenges with relevance to both regions – as well policy makers, research conducting companies and innovation managers. It takes place annually, alternating between an ASEAN and a European country.
The Workshop “Intellectual Property Rights in Southeast Asia” primary aim is to present major findings and overview on intellectual property rights framework conditions and current situation in ASEAN Member States, provisions of expert’s views and recommendation on dos and don’ts for IP research activities as well as exchange views between public and private representatives on practical examples and success stories of IP works in ASEAN in a partnership environment.
