2025 European Business Position Paper
The European Association for Business and Commerce (EABC) proudly presents the 2025 European Business Position Paper “Elevating Thailand’s Competitiveness: Driving Economic Transformation and Regulatory Reforms” that reflects the shared efforts from European business leaders in Thailand from a broad range of industries and pan-economic policy areas, to provide practical recommendations, through 12 working groups, for Thailand to become a more competitive and sustainable economy.
The EABC 2025 European Business Position Paper underpinned the importance of enhancing Thailand’s competitiveness. The adoption of the recommendations outlined in the paper is essential to advancing key reforms that will strengthen Thailand’s position as a premier trading and investment partner. Priority areas such as regulatory predictability, fair competition, and removal of market entry barriers require close collaboration between policymakers and the private sector. These priorities underscore the imperative for consistent policy frameworks, inclusive stakeholder engagement, and alignment with international standards—all of which are fundamental to fostering investor confidence and attracting high-quality, long-term investment.
