The EU-ASEAN Business Council’s EPR and FMCG Industry Roundtables

On 21 August 2025, the EABC Food, Agriculture and Beverages Working Group represented by Mr. Gafar Lutian, Ms. Sirapak Hongwattanakul, Mr. Napatr Kunachitpimol, and Ms. Charanya Nopnukulvised joined the EU-ASEAN Business Council’s EPR and FMCG Industry Roundtables at Hilton Bangkok Grand Asoke.

The EU-ASEAN Business Council also launched two reports:

• From Waste to Wealth: Advancing ASEAN’s Circular Economy through EPR, outlining six globally recognised design principles to guide effective EPR policy implementation in the ASEAN region. These principles promote EPR systems that are fair, transparent, and efficient.

• Enhancing FMCG Competitiveness in ASEAN, outlining recommendations to strengthen regional FMCG competitiveness while promoting healthier consumer behaviour. These
