ROSEWOOD BANGKOK CELEBRATES THE MOST JOYOUS SEASON OF THE YEAR WITH “2019 WINER FESTIVITIES”
Beginning 1 December, ultra-luxury Rosewood Bangkok hotel greets the festive season with the “2019 Winter Festivities” series of special menus and experiences at three of its elegant restaurants: Lakorn European Brasserie, Nan Bei Chinese restaurant and Lennon’s, the stylish speakeasy bar.
Lakorn European Brasserie salutes the season with its “Festive Afternoon Tea” — a classic English afternoon tea with a French twist and merry flair. Chef Florian Couteau, Rosewood Bangkok’s executive pastry chef, presents special sweet treats daily to bring holiday sparkle to celebrations from 1 December to 7 January 2020. Highlights of the Festive Afternoon Tea include classic Mont Blanc, Winter Berries “Bûche de Noël” and Eggnog Ice Cream.
Also at Lakorn, diners are invited to join the “Christmas Eve Dinner” on 24 December, a celebratory four-course feast of European favorites curated by Chef de Cuisine Jarno Robles. Surrounded by glittering seasonal decorations in a sophisticated setting, the special dinner includes a choice of a variety of delectable main courses and a signature Lakorn European Brasserie cocktail for an extra-indulgent evening. Celebrations can be further extended at the “Christmas Day Lunch” on 25 December 2019, featuring a welcome cocktail and four-course menu, with signatures such as rich Foie Gras Pâté en Croute with Winter Black Truffle and Bûche de Noël to crown this magical day.
Lakorn guests can celebrate the year-end with a special repast in elegant surroundings: the “New Year’s Eve Dinner” serves a welcome cocktail followed by an exquisite four-course celebratory dinner, with highlights such as Grilled Wagyu Rib Eye with Bone Marrow Jus and Smoked Sturgeon with Oscietra Caviar. Live entertainment is provided by the Nattikorn Jazz Trio performing classics well into the night. Then, 2020 is kicked off with a stylish European “New Year Brunch” with toasts to the first day of the year, perhaps with guests choosing an additional nip from the Champagne and Bloody Marry trolleys.
Winter festivities combine with a quintessential oriental experience at Nan Bei, with authentic Chinese dining backdropped by an exhilarating view of the Bangkok skyline. Patrons can dine in style with special à la carte menu items including Steamed Hokkaido King Scallops with Garlic Sauce and Live Phuket Lobster with Nan Bei X.O. Sauce.
Throughout the season, guests can celebrate at Lennon’s, the yesteryear-style speakeasy style bar on Rosewood Bangkok’s 30th floor. Here they are entertained with tunes courtesy of the vinyl-spinning DJ while enjoying refined signature cocktail selections, handcrafted by experienced mixologists.
