ITD’s annual conference of the Southeast Asia Trade and Development Forum 2023

On 6 September, EABC delegates led by Mr. Box Fox, Board Member and a Chair of Digital Economy/ICT Working Group, Mr. Matthew Grose, a Chair of Insurance Working Group and Dr. Charanya Nopnukulvised, Operations Director attended the International Institute for Trade and Development (ITD)’s annual conference of the Southeast Asia Trade and Development Forum 2023 under the theme of “Conquering the Polycrisis Challenges” at the Athenee Hotel.

The Opening Ceremony was presided over by Prof. Dr. Somkit Lertpaithoon, Chairman of ITD. The forum addressed crucial aspects, such as enhancing trade resilience through global trade system fortification and supply chain diversification, reinforcing international cooperation and governance through multilateral efforts, promoting green technologies and sustainable practices for sustainable trade, and navigating the challenges and opportunities presented by digitalization.
