EABC: IPR Intellectual Property Rights Infringing Goods Destruction Ceremony organized by Department of Intellectual property and states agencies.

On 26th August 2022, EABC delegates led by Ms. Khemika Ratanakul, Vice chair of IPR Working Group and Ms. Warangkana Hicks, Policy Manager attended The 2022 Intellectual Property Rights Infringing Goods Destruction Ceremony organized by Department of Intellectual property and states agencies.

The opening remarks presided by Mr. Vuttikrai Leewiraphan, Director General of the Department of Intellectual Property and Mr. Sinit Lertkrai, Deputy Minister of Commerce at the Antiaircraft Artillery Regiment, Don Mueng.

This year’s event was the first full scale destruction ceremony after two years with goods that seized by the Royal Thai Police, the Customs Department and the Department of Special Investigation, in a total of 404,985 items, worth 173,228,000 baht of genuine goods.
