MSD (THAILAND) LTD.  Is a wholly owned subsidiary of Merck & Co., Inc., a global research-intensive biopharmaceutical company, dedicated to putting patients first.  In Thailand, MSD’s medicines have contributed to improving healthcare for over 70 years and were first supplied through collaboration with BLH Trading Company Ltd. (“BLH”) in 1949.

In 2004, MSD established a wholly owned subsidiary in Thailand.  With this new structure, the company was better able to bring the best of MSD medicines to Thailand through the introduction of innovative therapies, conducting clinical research and supporting physician and patient education.  With focus on our key therapeutic areas of Oncology, Vaccines, Diabetes and Hospital Acute Care, MSD is helping health professionals and other patients achieve excellence in patient care, clinical practice, and scientific research.  The company sponsors educational activities that share the latest medical information with health professionals and supports programs that help doctors to manage their patients’ health.  In addition, with over 25 years’ continued commitment to research & development (R&D), we currently have over 42 ongoing clinical research studies, in 115 active research sites (4,390 subjects) in Oncology, Vaccine, and Antiviral treatments.
