SUMMARY:Thailand Economic Monitor
DESCRIPTION:The World Bank Thailand Office would like to invite you to the launch of Thailand Economic Monitor: Building Back Better\, Greener and Resilient – The Circular Economy on June 30\, 9:30-11:00 AM. The event will be held in a hybrid-format\, both virtual and in-person (VIE Hotel Bangkok). \nThailand’s GDP growth has picked up modestly since the surge in COVID-19 cases last year\, but economic activity remained below pre-pandemic levels in the first quarter of 2022\, in contrast to countries such as Malaysia\, Philippines and Indonesia which have recovered more quickly. Recent economic indicators also suggest a slowdown in the second quarter due to the impact of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine on prices and global activity. We are pleased to invite you to the launch of the Thailand Economic Monitor June 2022 edition on Building Back Better\, Greener and Resilient – The Circular Economy.
