DESCRIPTION:The EU-ASEAN Business Council will be organising a business mission to Indonesia from 4-6 December to meet with Indonesia government officials and relevant stakeholders. As a founding partner of the EU-ASEAN\, EABC members are encouraged to attend these meetings as part of the EU-ABC delegation to raise issues and challenges faced in Indonesia. \nThese meetings are open to EU-ABC Members free-of-charge. Non-Members of the EU-ABC can join this mission trip for a charge of S$2\,000 per delegate. Delegates will need to book their own flights and accommodation for the Mission. DESCRIPTION:The British Embassy Bangkok and the European Association for Business and Commerce (EABC) are pleased to announce a co-host briefing event on the changes to Thailand’s public procurement processes and their implications for international bidders at the Athenee Hotel on the 12th of December 2018\, from 14.30 hrs to 16.00 hrs. \nIn 2016\, Thailand launched the first Public Procurement Act\, which aims to improve transparency\, efficiency and value for money in public procurement. One of the key features of the law is to promote alignment with international standards. The revised public procurement approach allows international firms to compete to deliver high value public procurement projects\, aiming to ensuring high quality procurement outcomes for Thailand.
