These industries are playing a greater role in maintaining Thailand’s competitiveness in the global market. In order to pursue further development\, Thailand has  started transforming towards a knowledge based economy with innovation\, creativity and design as its key drivers. EABC are organizing a European Pavilion during the T.I.D.E 15-18 September and are hosting 4 European companies; ThaiGerTec\, Husqvarna\, Hightech Garden and Oscar Biz. EABC President Mr. Rolf-Dieter Daniel and VP Mr. Jan Eriksson and EABC Executives participated in the opening ceremony and had the honor and pleasure to welcome H.E . The Thai Minister of Commerce\, H.E. Ms. Apiradi Tantraporn  to our European Pavilion.

DESCRIPTION:On 4 April in Vientiane the EU-ASEAN Business Council (EU-ABC) met ASEAN Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors to discuss a number of issues connected to trade facilitation and liberalisation of financial services in South East Asia. The EU-ABC delegation in particular raised issues connected with the liberalisation of the insurance market in ASEAN and moves to increase insurance penetration and coverage across the region as well improve financial inclusion and literacy rates.
