SUMMARY:Webinar: Deepening The Understanding of EU Sanctions And Enhancing Cooperation To Reduce Sanctions Circumvention
DESCRIPTION:A virtual EU Sanctions capacity-building seminar “Deepening the understanding of EU sanctions and enhancing cooperation to reduce sanctions circumvention” will take place on Tuesday 1 July (8.30am-4pm SGT). \nThe primary aim of the seminar is to raise awareness of EU sanctions and their application\, and to cooperate to counter possible circumvention of these measures. The seminar is free of charge and targeted to private sector operators interested in improving their awareness of EU sanctions. \nThe EU team of trainers includes sanctions experts from the European Commission\, representatives from EU Member States as well as experts from the EU private sector (compliance divisions of major banks\, exports and transportation/logistics companies). Attached you can find the draft agenda. \nThe link to the seminar platform will be provided to registered participants one day ahead of the event.
