EABC had a meeting with The Spanish Confederation of Business Organizations (CEOE) via Zoom on On 1 December 2022

The meeting aimed to provide a general overview about Thailand market, current business relations with European companies and specially with the Spanish ones and to recognize suitable institutions in Thailand for identifying possible ways of collaboration for business and investment opportunities.

Welcoming Remarks was made by Mr. José Cuevas Muñoz from CEOE International, followed by Economic and trade analysis of Thailand Bilateral relations between Spain and Thailand Possibilities for business collaboration by Mr. Luis lopez, Director of the Economic and Commercial Office of Spain in Thailand, and a presentation of the European Association for Business and Commerce of Thailand (EABC – Thailand) by Mr. Guillaume Rebiere, Executive Director of EABC.

We would like to extend our thanks to EABC members who shared a brief focus on the sector: challenges, opportunities, activities, under the scope of the working group:

– Food and Beverages sector by Mr. Thomas Sanchez, COO – Thailand , Malaysia, Vietnam of The Commercial Company of Siam / Maison Denis.

– Transport and Logistics sector by Dr. Thomas Fernandez, Director of Sales, Operations and Consulting at Fair & Easy.

– Tourism sector by Mr. Anthony Hoglund, Vice President and Legal Director of Amadeus in Thailand and President of the Spanish-Thai Chamber of Commerce.
